New Site
I keep saying here that I want to give positive posts and have something good to say when I log in. However, everytime I think about my weight and my eating I just can't think of anything positive to say. So, I've got a new site! The new site has my real name attached to it so I won't be posting my weight to it. This site I'll talk about my goals in life and what I do everyday. Like today I had a great day so I wrote about what I did on that site. I'll probably keep this site going to talk about my weight loss probably once a week but I just can't talk about eating and exercise everyday.
I would love if everyone who reads this site will come over to my other site. I promise to keep it more up to date. (Plus I'll have pictures)
Thank you for reading...

Post Created Saturday
I'm not sure what is up with this week but I've been so lazy. Every night on my drive home I think of all the things I need to get done. (1. Clean this pit of a house 2. Use my exercise tape 3. Work on Christmas gifts 4. Organize my office). Instead I come home and turn on the TV and that is where I sit all night. Monday and Tuesday night tv was my plan since I had several shows I "pvred" from my vacation. This included my 8 episodes of my favorite show Gilmore Girls in it's second season (which I've never seen). I should have done something useful wednesday, thursday or last night but instead I sat in front of the TV and surfed on my internet with my laptop. I didn't even turn the tv off long enough to update my blog. Very sad indeed. I'll try tomorrow to be better so I can write positive entries in my blog.

Back from Vacation
Well, I'm back from my vacation. I wasn't that good while on vacation. I was really good on Thanksgiving and the day after. I drank my water and cut back on food but then lost it during the end of the week. Now that I'm back and need to get back on track.
Something that always gets me motivated is watching the biggest loser. The fact that these people work out everyday and eat well while still under the pressure of the game and that they are captured on camara all the time just blows me away. After watching it I always think, "If they can exercise everyday for several hours I can exercise at least 5 times a week. It would be so nice to have a personal trainer riding me all the time and pushing me all the time.
One thing they talk about on the show is not being afraid to try new exercises. That these people aren't afraid of doing things that wouldn't have thought possible. I know that feeling. There are so many things that I figure I can do once I lose weight but not now. I need to not be afraid and try new things.

New Plan

Last Wednesday I finished my Colorado Weigh class. I almost lost 10 pounds. I thought I would lose more than that but I had a tough time getting started on the plan. Now comes the tough part and that is sticking to the plan without an instructor looking after me. I haven't done so well. I took a little break from recording my foods and probably ate more than I should have this week. Plus I didn't really exercise. Next week I'll do lots better. One of the lessons I learned from Colorado Weigh is not to give up. When you start to lose it you should reevaluate your goals and refocus yourself to the plan.
Goals:

1. Increase my exercise to 4x a week. The plan is to continue water aerobics on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. To make up for the extra day I'm going do the walk away the pounds tape once a week. I will be skipping this coming week cause I'll be on vacation but will stick to this all through December.

2. Keep up with my food journaling 5 days a week. I have a tough time journalling on the weekend so i'm going to focus on the rest of the week to keep in the habit.

3. Update my blog 5 days a week (except when I'm on vacation)

4. Lose 5 pounds by January 1st. If I stick to the plan above this should be easy. I just really want to see 210 again. I feel much better about myself when I'm losing weight and what I need now is to feel better.

Need a New Look
I"m looking to change this site around. Does anyone know of a good blog template site or someone who will create blog template for me? I really want to get back into updating this website and a new look might make it easier for me.

Thanks!

Classes Going Well
Well, things have been going well for me. I'm still doing my colorado weigh classes. In fact I'm 7 weeks into the program. The first four weeks were pretty slow. I went down one pound a week at that time. Then I gained two pounds during the fifth week. I went into my class and she reset my goal to 216 instead of 214. That was an eye opener. Since then I've started water aerobics and really watched what I ate. I've lost four pounds this past two weeks...yeah! I'm now down to 219. It's a little sad because this time last year I was at 210. Oh well, now I know the lesson on how easy it is to gain back lost weight and lose it again.

I'm sorry that I haven't been around very much. Work has been really busy lately. However, I hope to pick up updating this website again everyday when my class ends in 5 weeks. Hopefully by then I'll be down to 214 and continuing down.
